So how big was that maple tree?
I'm sure I couldn't tell you, but it was over the top of the house, a good 45' in the air.

It almost looks like it is burled. If you could get it sawn up, it would be worth some money. It would be a shame to just mulch or burn it...
I see you used your "church shoes" to do the measuring does that mean you were standing on one foot when you took that picture?
Yes I was standing on one foot, pretty talented eh? As for getting the tree milled, we would love to but I've been told that no one wants to mill a yard tree. We have not decided what to do with it yet.
