how fun for you guys! I sent the baby announcement to your old address, hope it gets to you where ever you may be, and I KNOW how it feels to step into a flooded basement. Once, when returning from a reunion i went through a basement window to open the door(dad was fifteen minutes behind us and he had the keys to the house) and jumped down from that window into a dark house... and six inches of water... one of my more interesting experiences. Sorry for you guys tho, that sucks. BTW, don't HANG the sump pump. It causes it to malfunction. This is how our basement got flooded.

Oh, I bet that is a relief, having a washer and dryer. And how are those animals getting into your house? They are cute, but not inside. good luck
