Laura, you made me lol! You should see what's left of that wallpaper it has roosters on it! It's great. This room actually is still lathe and plaster. In some of the photos you can see a round pie pan looking thing on the kitchen wall about 6ft up the wall. This is where the old wood/coal burning stove for cooking use to vent out! Awesome. Lots of work absolutely but it will be fun!
