"It is useful occasionally to look at the past to gain a perspective on the present" (Fabian Linden)

Last night we looked at the first pictures that we took of the house. It helps to look at where you were to appreciate where you're at. We now have a room at the Inn. Our first bedroom was the servant's chamber. It had all the plaster removed, but the lathe was still on the walls and bats were flying over our heads during the night. Anyway, as of today the room is roughly 99% complete and no bats. So here are the pictures of then and now:
North Wall: Then..............................Now

East Wall: Then...............................Now

South Wall: Then..........................Now

West Wall: Then..........................................Now

If you were entering the room this is what you would see first:

There are some fun touches such as:

The stool

The bedspread (which we purchased in Branson, MO where we celebrated my birthday):

The curtains Chris made.....and the clothes holders in the closet

And since you can't be here this is how it would feel and sound if you were in the room looking around:
Yes, we have a guest room now!
